Useful Information

Everything you need to know before your night in the Sahara.

Getting Here

The camp lies in the Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga, in south-east Morocco. Most guests fly into Errachidia (Moulay Ali Cherif) airport, about two hours away by road, or drive from Fes or Marrakech — a scenic full-day journey. From Merzouga village we arrange your transfer into the dunes by 4x4, or by camel at sunset for the classic arrival. Call or WhatsApp us at +212 691 270 630 and we will organise everything.

Best Time to Visit

The most comfortable seasons are September to November and late February to May, with warm days and mild nights. Winter days are sunny, though desert nights get cold — extra blankets are provided. In July and August the middle of the day is very hot, so activities move to sunrise and sunset, when the desert is at its best.

What to Pack

Bring layers: light, breathable clothes for the day and a warm jacket for the evening, especially from November to February. A scarf protects you from sun and sand, and sunscreen, sunglasses and closed shoes make walking the dunes far more comfortable. Every tent has a private bathroom, and Wi-Fi is available at the camp.

Your Stay at the Camp

Each luxury tent has a proper bed with quality linen and an en-suite bathroom. Dinner and breakfast are served at the camp — fresh, traditional Moroccan cooking, with vegetarian options on request. After dinner, join the team around the fire for Berber drumming and stargazing, and let us arrange your sunrise camel ride or quad tour for the morning.
